Registered Psychologist in Calgary

Jennifer Hoy

Hi! I’m a Registered Psychologist in Calgary with a passion for connecting with people and helping clients as they navigate life’s challenges through a trusting, collaborative, and supportive therapeutic relationship. At the core of my practice are compassion, authenticity, and a genuine curiosity about your unique story. I wholeheartedly believe in your ability to create a more fulfilling and meaningful life—a life aligned with your desires—no matter the challenges you may be facing.

Through my upbringing, I learned the importance of hard work, education, and kindness, while also navigating themes of belonging, connection, and self-agency. These experiences, along with my love for international travel, have shaped my perspectives and deepened my appreciation of the diversity of worldviews and traditions, enhanced my understanding of resilience, and fostered the desirability of interconnectedness. This inspires me to approach every client with appreciation, respect, openness, and a commitment to celebrate you!

I have been privileged to spend over 12 years as a therapist, working with individuals of all ages and from diverse backgrounds. My professional journey has included roles within a non-profit organization, various school systems (including post-secondary institutions), partnerships with the healthcare system, and private practice.

Currently, my primary focus is supporting teens and adults navigating interpersonal, developmental, behavioural, and emotional challenges rooted in trauma. My goal is to foster meaningful healing and growth in a compassionate and collaborative way. I draw upon a range of trauma-informed, evidence-based therapeutic approaches, thoughtfully tailoring my methods to honour and meet your unique needs.

In my role as a supervisor, I bring the same dedication and energy that I bring to my work with clients. I strive to create a safe, empowering space where growth and learning can flourish. My goal is to make the supervision process both supportive and inspiring, providing clarity and guidance as we navigate this journey together. I am committed to helping you build confidence and develop into the skilled, compassionate professional you aspire to become.

When I’m not in the therapy room, you’ll likely find me adventuring with my dog, exploring far-off destinations, or spending quality time with friends and family. I love strength training, checking out local events around the city, and, of course, dancing with pure joy whenever the opportunity arises!

Registered Social Worker in Calgary

Jessica Donovan

Hi! I’m a Registered Social Worker with a Clinical Master’s in Social Work from the University of Calgary. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people from all walks of life—children, teens, adults, and families. Life can be tough, even at the best of times, and we can all use a little help! I’m passionate about helping children, teens, and their parents strengthen connections, improve communication, build coping skills, and, most importantly, bring back the fun to family life.

I believe that every person is unique, and because of that, I value providing a therapy experience that is tailored to your individual needs. My approach is integrative, combining evidence-based interventions like CBT (Cognitive Behavioural Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), and Theraplay to best support you. I specialize in working with anxiety, self-esteem, and parent-child relationships, but I’m also here to help with any other challenges you may be facing.

Alongside my work with families, I also support individuals on their journey of self-discovery—whether that means exploring your values, relationship patterns, or gaining fresh perspectives on life. I strive to create a safe, supportive space where we can work together in a way that feels collaborative and empowering.

When I’m not working, you’ll find me out walking with my dog, trying new restaurants, and spending quality time with friends and family!
